GZILLION ART

Work in Progress & Progression

Gzillion is a self-taught artist, primarily known for crafting multimedia sculptures and reliefs in a contemporary, minimalist fashion. His creative inspiration stems from modernist architecture, engineering machinery, and natural landscapes.

From years in visual merchandising, working internationally to create window displays for iconic high-end stores, from Daks/Simpson’s Piccadilly to Harrods, to Ralph Lauren Australia, Gzillion Artist has been inspired to delve into the world of art. Following this, Gzillion went on to internationally exhibit his work in over thirty group shows, in London, Paris, Berlin, Estonia, Mexico, India and Italy, including work he exhibited in three consecutive Venice Biennales, Road Map, Vroom, and Empire II.

It is in this exhibition that Gzillion meticulously explores how surfaces and materials collide and transform over time in response to the relentless forces of decay. He draws on years of exploring the elegance of circular forms and the intriguing negative spaces they produce. Working with mediums such as painted wood, to stones and metals, he delves into the inherent beauty of raw materials. Gzillion seeks to find beauty in simplicity and invites viewers to appreciate the interplay of form, texture, and space, fostering a connection between the observer and the timeless allure of contemporary minimalism.
